Stuffed Beef Tortellini's

Hello friends! Hope everyone is doing well! On today's post I wanted to share a simple and easy recipe that I did last week for dinner. I was running a little late and didn't want to eat out so I decided to make an easy dish you all can enjoy as well. I love being in the kitchen but when I can put together a dish in less than 30minutes- I'm all for it.

I have always been a big pasta fan and this dish makes me want to get in the kitchen and wipe it up right now LOL. All you need is a can of diced tomatoes, oregano, diced garlic, a few basil leaves and a bag of tortellinis- these are usually sold at your local grocery store and come in various flavours.

Bring water to a boil on a medium pot and add your tortellinis (leave in for 6-8 minutes or as recommended on package). While that is cooking in a medium sauce pan add a tablespoon of olive oil, and add a can of diced tomatoes. Finely dice up your garlic, basil leaves and add into mixture along with a pinch of salt and oregano. Let it simmer on medium heat. Once the tortellinis are done, set aside less than a 3/4 of cup of pasta water, and drain the rest. Add tortellinis into sauce pan and mix together, adding the pasta water and let it simmer for 2 minutes. Let it sit for a couple more minutes with your heat off. Once that is done plate your pasta and add your favourite type of shredded cheese on top ( mines mozzarella).

Done! See! how easy was that?!

Hope you guys enjoy !

Zucchini and Cheese!

Hey guys! Sorry I have been so M.I.A, but I was in the process of moving and now that I'm all settled in I can finally get back to normal! I've been wanting to sit down and upload a post but with everything going on I just couldn't seem to find the time.... but now I'm back!
I thought I would share one of my favourite recipes. It's very simple and easy, and only involves a few ingredients that you guys probably already have in your fridge. Whenever I prepare this for my family I like to accompany it with some rice or grilled potatoes and a light salad.

Ingredients:

-3 large zucchinis
-half a cup of shredded mozarella cheese
-1 large onion
-pinch of salt, pepper, and paprika
-2 eggs

First, cut a little bit of the bottom and top off the zucchini- Don't peel them! Put in a large pot of water and boil for 30 minutes (if you poke the zucchini with a knife easily then they are ready).
Once ready remove from heat and drain the water out. Leave aside to cool. While those cool down, finely dice up an onion and sauté in a medium pot with a splash of oil, on low heat. Cut zucchini's in half and with a teaspoon carefully remove the inside and place in a bowl leaving a thick part of the skin of the zucchini as a 'base' .When the onions are transparent you are going to add what you removed from the zucchini along with salt, paprika and a pinch of pepper and stir altogether. Let it cook for about 10 minutes and then add half a cup of shredded cheese and 2 eggs. Mix together.
In a large non stick cookie tray, aline your zucchini "base" in a row; carefully add your mixture into each and everyone and add a small piece of cheese and the top. Place in oven and set to broil for 6 minutes. Your all done!

Enjoy!!

Mother's Days Gift Ideas....

Mother's day is just around the corner and I can't hardly wait! There is something so special about this day- of course it shouldn't be the only day that we should take the chance to show our moms how much we love them and truly appreciate them, but it's another excuse to go all out!

My mother is a strong and very hard working women. She has sacrificed a lot for our family and is truly one of the most remarkable people that I have had the pleasure of having in my life.
I have always enjoyed spoiling my mother and Mother's day just makes it more fun.
If gifts have you in a bit of a budget, don't stress! There are tons of other things you can do for your mom on this day to show her you care, it's the thought that counts. Treat your mom to a home cook meal, have a little spa session at home with her or just go out with her and spend quality time together. I hope these ideas with help make the special women in your life have an amazing day.

How to: Clean a Beauty Blender

Hello ladies! Hope you all are doing well. It's no surprise to anyone on how amazing the Beauty Blender is. If you girls have one, you'll know. It's such an amazing little tool that help you apply your makeup beautifully giving it a nice natural and beautiful finish on when you apply your foundation. I've recommended the beauty blender to so many of my friends and none have been disappointed. It's a cute little sponge that expands once wet. It also comes in a variety of colours such as pink, black, white, nude, grey, green and even red.
Just like any other makeup tool you have to wash the beauty blender to help avoid any bacteria build up.

Official product details from Sephora:

What it is:
An edgeless, non-disposable, high-definition cosmetic sponge applicator.

What it does:
The unique shape and exclusive material available only with beautyblender® ensures impeccable, streak-free application with minimum product waste. Use it with primers, foundations, powders, cream blushes, and any other complexion product.

What else you need to know:
Beautyblender features an open cell structure that fills with small amounts of water when wet. This allows the sponge to be “full” so that the makeup product sits on top of the sponge rather than being absorbed, allowing you to use less product every time. When wet, beautyblender doubles in size and becomes even softer, returning to its original size when it air dries. Handcrafted in the USA.

This product is an Allure Best of Beauty award winner.

My friends recently were asking me some tips on how to clean the beauty blender throughly making sure its 100% clean.

This Beauty Blender-blender cleanser solid is also a great product to use to clean your beauty blender.

Hope you guys enjoyed!

L'oreal Paris Infallible Pro Matte Gloss: Review

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a relaxed Sunday evening. I dropped by the drug store to pick up some essentials and of course I had to pass by the makeup aisle... of course.. right? Well any who I spotted these beautiful lip glosses by L'oreal and let me just say.... WOW.
First of all let's talk about the colour selections.. there are so many beautiful colours it's unreal. Spring is right around the corner and these colour will not disappoint. The pigmentation of these glosses are amazing. These swatches below are just one stroke, so you guys can see how beautiful they are, and I can't believe I'm saying this but- No lipstick needed. I know. The formulation of these matte lip glosses  are so rich and smooth, that they won't dry your lips out. The consistency is not liquidy and it won't run on you, it's much more suttle which I personally like. Another key point that I look for in a lip product is the smell, and these smell really nice. In my opinion, L'oreal never disappoints and they sure didn't now.

Like I mentioned, the colour selection was unreal, but I must admit that the pinks had me like woah! Here are a few of the colours that I left with today.

The colours from left to right: Blushing Ambition(shade 300), Rebel Rose (shade 304), Forbidden Kiss (shade 310), Rouge Envy (shade 312), and Nude Allude (shade 314)

It's not like I needed more lip products, butttttt when I saw these- I had too. You guys get me right?

Ofcourse my cousin knows me and knows that I couldn't resist this beautiful red lipgloss in Shanghai Scarlet (shade 308), so when she gave it to me I was in heaven (angels literally sang to me when I saw it) LOL.

Hope you guys enjoyed,
