Shrimp Pasta

Hello everyone! I really hope everyone is doing well. I know things are still a bit weird with what's going on, so I wanted to try to get your minds off of it even if it for a little while. It's a weird time that we are living in, but hopefully things will pass and get better.

On New Years my cousin came over and made this for us, which intrigued me at plain sight (I'm a sucker for seafood). Once I tried it, I instantly loved it and wanted the recipe. This was really easy to make and you just need a few ingredients. I wanted to share it with you guys just in case you guys wanted to give it a try, since we are all still in quarantine and might be getting a little bored with our menus. Set up a cozy table in you balcony or backyard, add some candles and a good glass of wine and trust me you won't miss eating out with this easy recipe.

Serve on top of pasta or rice.

Ingredients:

- fresh shrimp (depending on how many people)
-pint of cherry tomatoes
-chilli flakes (depending on how spicy you'd like)
-salt and pepper
-oil

First, you are going to wash your shrimp thoroughly and get them all cleaned up.

Next, you are going to cut off anything you don't think you are going to eat. I personally don't like the little legs or head (gross! did I just say that?! LOL). I find that it helps when you have an extra bowl on the side, so then you are cutting the shrimp you have a place to put anything your not going to cook.

If you have a wok that would be great to use.

Add oil to your pan/wok and let it heat up first before adding your shrimp. Once you feel like it's hot enough add your shrimp and season it with a little bit of salt and chilli flakes (if you want to add pepper you can-I just didn't have any). While that is cooking start cutting up your cherry tomatoes.

In another small frying pan add oil and your cherry tomatoes. Season it with salt.

Cook shrimp and saute the cherry tomatoes.

You can serve it with rice or pasta (I personally prefer pasta). That's it! Super easy and affordable. Hope you guys like it and enjoy a nice meal "out"!

Hope you guys enjoy!

Current Amazon Faves & Finds!

Hi loves! Hope you are all doing great! So I'm back with another Amazon Finds post sharing some of the new things I have recently purchased. Since being on quarantine I have found myself purchasing a lot more things online then I used to and to be honest I don't mind at all. I hope you guys enjoy the post and find something you guys would like to try out.

1. MudBuster ($24.99)

This thing has changed my life! I take my dog out everyday for 2-3 walks a day and usually it's a 2 hours walk. He runs around like crazy, gets into mud and dirt and is always coming back home with dirty paws. Before it was so hard cleaning his paws since he's such a big dog (German Shepherd/Lab mix) but now it's so much easier to clean them. Total life changer!

2. Schick Silk Face Razor ($5.99)

I have been removing the peach fuzz from my face for a couple of years now, and I have always used this particular product. This is definitely a product that I highly recommend and trust.

3. Along-Fit High Waisted Leggings ($28.99)

Okay! Let me just saw that I have purchased a million leggings (yes! I practically live in leggings) and wow! Was I surprised when I received these. My boyfriend actually got me these leggings after he saw me eyeing them for awhile. I was iffy about it at first because when I buy clothes I actually like touching the fabric and seeing first hand the quality of the clothing. But when they arrived was I surprised, the quality of these leggings actually feel nicer then other expensive leggings that I own and they are a fraction of the price. I would 100% recommend these! So much that I ordered a couple more pairs in different colours!

4. iPhone Case- Pink ($10.99)

Both of these iPhone cases are so cute! and really good quality.

iPhone Case- Neon Orange ($9.99)

  5. Malouf Bed Glides ($23.99)

I recently purchased a new headboard from Pottery Barn and purchasing these helped my give my bed the height that I needed in order to attach the screws to the bed frame.

6. Foot Spa Massager ($74.99)

This foot massager is life changing! I have it used a couple of times but I think that my mom has enjoyed this even more since she always using it! She loves it! haha and I can't blame her.

7. Rubbermaid Storage ($39.99)

I have never been a fan of tupperware, I feel like whatever I put in them stain the containers and they eventually start to smell throughout time but these ones don't stain nor do they smell so that's awesome.

8. Make-up Sponge ($13.99)

I love applying my make-up with a beauty sponge. I think it's a great tool to help apply your make-up beautifully, but it can get expensive. I always wash my beauty sponge to help eliminate the germs from it but I also like to replace them every now and then. This is a great dupe if your looking for one!

9. Beautural Lint Remover ($17.99)

This little thing will change your life! If you hate the lint that your clothing forms throughout the time after a few washes, then you'll love this guy! Once I use it on my clothes, it leaves them looking brand new! It's amazing! I have even used it on bed sheets which is amazing.

10. Sponge Storage ($2.74)

This is great way to store your beauty sponge and help prevent germs getting on it. Besides it's super cute! and comes in 3 different colours.

11. Multifunctional Clothes Hanger ($11)

I recently purchased these for my sister. She has 3 little girls so that means a whole bunch of clothes! So to help her store the girls clothes and not over crowd their closets and I thought this would be a great way to help her out.

12. Tie Dye Kit ($55.49)

I decided to get on the tie dye bandwagon! I've seen so many people get these and make cute shirts, shorts and socks. I thought it would be a cute idea to do these with my nieces. Besides these remind my of when I was a little kid.
